Add A Little More Merry To Your Christmas

“Nothing ever seems too bad, too hard, or too sad when you’ve got a Christmas tree in the living room.”- Nora Roberts

Wish you a very Merry Christmas !

In this article, I have shortlisted some of my all-time favourite activities to do on Christmas with my family. Scroll down to unwrap yourself a joyful Christmas!

#1 Christmas Heads-Up

Have you heard about the original Heads-Up game introduced by Ellen DeGeneres? This game is exactly like it but more fun!

So basically to play this game, you can take sticky notes and write different Christmas characters. Write every character you can think of. The more the merrier! Take characters like Olaf, Santa ,Buddy, Harry and Marv etc. to make it more funny!

Harry and Marv from Home Alone 2: Lost in New York

Then each player picks a random note and pastes it onto their forehead without looking at what it says. Then, everyone has to give clues to each other related to the character without saying the name. It’s a guaranteed laugh-fest.

#2 Watch the Home Alone Series

I am ready to bet that you have watched it before or at-least heard about it! This is probably one of the most funniest Christmas films to watch with your family! Especially younger siblings!

This film is packed with hilarious jokes and also displays how mischievous and cunning yet brilliantly smart Kevin is!

A must-watch for all ages! I have watched this film so many times with my family and still not bored of it!

#3 Bake Cookies

This one is absolutely delicious and mouth-watering! To keep the Christmas spirit why not bake some cookies?!

And here’s what you can do to make it even more fun! Invite everyone in your family and each of you decorate your cookies! Whichever cookie looks the most satisfying and delicious wins!

#4 Play Secret Santa

Now for this one you might have to start a few days early, but it’s definitely a good one!

So basically, start off by making chits with all the players’ names on it. Insert the chits in a basket (or even better a Santa’s hat) and make each player pick out a chit. Whosever name it is, you have to buy them a gift.

However, make sure they do not find out it’s you who’s giving them a gift, or it won’t remain a secret anymore!

Happy gifting!

#5 Hot Cocoa

The season wouldn’t be complete without a steaming mug of hot cocoa in your hand.

Make your hot chocolate recipe better with one of these decadent and rich homemade hot chocolate recipes. Don’t forget to add marshmallows!

So the above 5 are my most favourite things to do on Christmas. Spread the Christmas fun by sharing this article with your friends!

Merry Christmas!
